Champagne Brut Tradition is a blend of several years and several grape varieties. The 40% Pinot Noir gives it roundness, the 10% Meunier gives it vinosity and the 50% Chardonnay gives it freshness. It's a great way to start tasting Champagne. The aperitif par excellence
The colour is bright and clear, with light green highlights. A fine, abundant mousse is present on serving. Fine, persistent tannins. The nose is fine and floral, but also very expressive and powerful with a certain finesse. A touch of mimosa, followed by citrus and ripe fruit. The palate has a clean attack, with a fairly lively freshness well-balanced by a warm impression of honey. A pleasant finish of medium length.

Our "Brut Rosé" is a blend, but its composition – 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir – is quite unusual.

This blanc de blancs is vinified entirely in oak barrels. The grapes come from vines over 50 years old.
Our "Cuvée des Caudalies Rosé" is a blend of Chardonnay (largely dominant at 90%) and Pinot Noir (10%). The Chardonnay is vinified in small barrels (2-8 wines) for six months.
- Selection of the best juices from old 50 years old vineyard - 10 month in oak barrel - No filtration, we used indegenious yeast. Bâtonnages in oak 2 poignettages (shake) on cellar cave. - Dosage Extra-Brut.
Tout le monde connait les 4 saveurs : Acide ; amère ; salé et sucré. Il faut y ajouter lors d’une dégustation la notion de longueur « CAUDALIE » de profondeur ; de texture ; de relief ; de rondeur ; d’aspérité ; vivacité ; minéralité et sapidité c’est-à-dire UMAMI.
De champagne Brut Tradition is een assemblage van verschillende jaren. De pinots noirs zorgen voor haar ronde structuur, de pinots meuniers voor de vinositeit, de chardonnays voor de frisheid.
In champagne, we are lucky to be able to vinify either by grape varieties or by terroir. Chemin des terroirs is a representation of the diversity of the basements of the De Sousa estate. This vintage is an invitation to travel on the paths of the different terroirs of Champagne.
